Job Summary Department:
The Secondary Marketing Department is located in our Stamford, CT office and has the responsibility for monitoring, analyzing and implementing the secondary marketing operations, including, but not limited to, locking loans, selling mortgages, recommending pricing guidelines for products, maintaining good relationships with established investors; hedging interest rate and fall out risk of loan pipeline, reducing exposure for loss; making recommendations and proposals for strategies and related areas.  The Jr. Secondary Lock Desk/Mortgage Analyst position will offer an opportunity to the aspiring candidate to gain knowledge and exposure to the mortgage industry by working closely with the Secondary Marketing Analyst.  The position also includes the supervision of investor reporting, accounting and reconciliation process.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Process all interest rate lock requests and confirmations. 
• Set and distribute interest rates and pricing for all residential 1st mortgage products in accordance with the desired profit margins, rate lock and hedging policies and procedures
• Generate/enhance/prepare reports for analysis of loan pricing, profitability and performance
• Performs quantitative analysis of pipeline and closed loan inventory by product type and other characteristics

• Strong verbal, mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of PC based spreadsheet creation and maintenance, including linking and formulas
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
• Strong commitment to teamwork
• Strong time management skills and sense of urgency

Past mortgage experience, a B.A. or B.S. degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experiences a plus.

Starting salary range $35,000-$45,000, 401K, Health benefits
