As a Luxury Mortgage Corp ® Loan Officer or Team, you will promote and market the firm's mortgage products to clients and business partners within a designated territory in Westchester County, Southern New Jersey, the Five Boroughs of NYC or Fairfield County, CT. These positions have the opportunity for growth and long term advancement. The opportunities are located in fast paced environments.
You will have access to one of the widest range of products available in the market today including Banked and Broker Out options, FHA, Agency and Jumbo products.  Full processing support to help speed loans to approval. Marketing tools and technology that will increase any business plan.
 
Inside and outside sales, sales teams and sales team manager opportunities available.

Duties include:

  • Obtain mortgage loans from referral sources including but not limited to: past clients, financial planners, Tax Professionals, Business agents and realtors.
  • Using prudent judgment, effective marketing and proven corporate techniques develop and cultivate prospective clients and business referral sources.
  • Assess and evaluate prospect client needs recommend and consult prospect client on available programs.
  • Continue to build strong rapport following-up on a regular basis.
  • Provide superior customer consultation, advice, counseling and service to clients and business partners.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the mortgage application process.
  • Work independently, but be part of a team driving towards the financial goals of the Firm.
  • Effectively communicate with peers, colleagues and management.
  • Meet minimum performance standards determined by Department Manager balancing self originations and house provided leads.
  • Call past customers to determine needs within current marketing conditions.
  • Maintain lead conversion standards and loan pull-through standards as determined by Department Manager.   
  • Maintain customer service standards as determined by Department Manager (as outlined below and subject to change)
  • Respond to customer needs and inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Keep Collogues and Managers informed on status loan progress and origination projections.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of retail mortgage originations or retail mortgage sales experience
  • College degree or four years equivalent work experience in retail mortgage sales
  • Sales and consulting skills required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of FHA, FNMA, FHLMC and Jumbo guidelines
  • FHA sales experience preferred
  • Intermediate PC skills required in a Windows environment
